If lucky, the E36 will die peacefully, in its natural habitat, and be given the prestigious honor of donating its parts to an E30

lol new question, are salvage cars not a big deal in cali?? like 90% of the e30s on Craigslist are salvage and people just play it off like its not a big deal... just curious

Silverlake is like the Williamsburg of the west. LA's own hipster central. Not bad though. Pretty scenery, lots of "talent."

Coming from NYC myself, I was really impressed with the car scene out in Socal. Not just e30's, but everything. We also have some of the best driving roads in the country.

                        Get yourself to the beach.

Yup. No big. Easy to register, just might not be able to cover as much on insurance.

For a car to get salvaged. The total of the damage needs to be greater than the KBB value of the car ( easy ) for total loss. Some cars maybe have been hit bad or other very small fender bender. Who knows. Also in CA if a car is stolen , when recovered its given a salvaged title.

It does make the car hard to sell tho

That's nuts that it's not a big deal, and that it's easy to register. I've only heard that here in jersey you gotta jump through all types of hoops to get on the road.
