To make this event more exciting. JMP will give an award to the fastest e30 or e36 lap time on our run group. Stock or modified e30/e36 is qualified to join. Fastest car is not always the fastest time. We will get your best time out of the first 4 sessions. Some cars will be disqualified from joining including my car.

Prize is $130 cash on the spot (meaning free track day for you) :).

So what's the deal with that prize money. Are swapped cars excluded? I'm excited to run with a bunch of other E30s finally! How many on the list so far?

Won't be me, as this will be my first time at that track. I only drive 10/10ths AutoXing where the worst that happens is a money shift or killing a cone worker. Money shift is worse off right? ;-)

Good to hear you are running with us.

All swap cars included. Like I said, not all fast cars run fast times. This is just to have fun, nothing serious. I will make some rules to have time penalty for some drivers with more experience and engine swaps to make it more fair.

Verts without rollover protection is not allowed. For e30, I recommend atleast a 4 point rollbar. Send me a PM if you are interested on having one. We can custom made one for your car.

What is your full name? Give them a call and tell them you will part of the JMP run group. Usually no beginners on Sunday but on my run group it should be ok but you have to call them and they will verify with me.

Anyone staying at Palmdale hotel the night before? I know most of you are much closer...not having to think about lodging. Think it'd be fun to hang a little before the event.

Curious, what will be the passing rules for the event? Also what layout/direction are we going to run? As I haven't been to this track before I want to memorize the map as much as possible beforehand.
