Ok guys, we're excited to announce that we - Castro Motorsport, will be holding our first official dyno day, open house and BBQ at our shop on Sunday Dec. 16th 2012. We recently purchased Miller Performance's RWD Mustang Dyno, so unfortunately no AWD cars can be run.
We will be providing food and drinks; probably hot dogs or burgers, along with bottled water and sodas. We will also have a DJ with live music, and a few project cars on display on our lifts to show everyone what's been done to each vehicle. It will be a fun-day Sunday hanging out at the shop, making some noise on the dyno, inhaling toxic exhaust fumes and breaking everyone's hearts when you see how little power their car actually makes on our dyno!
PLAN ON COMING EARLY, STREET PARKING WILL FILL UP QUICK! We will be holding spots up and down Sherman Way early that morning. Parking inside the shop plaza will be designated for OUR CUSTOMERS.
COST: 3 RUNS FOR $75
***IF YOU WANT TO EAT WE WILL BE SELLING MEAL TICKETS FOR $5.***
*THE $5 WILL GET YOU: 1 BURGER OR 2 HOT DOGS, 1 SODA OR WATER BOTTLE, 1 BAG OF CHIPS, AND ONLY 1 RAFFLE TICKET.
***YOU CAN ONLY ENTER THE RAFFLE WITH PURCHASE OF A MEAL TICKET!***
EACH ADDITIONAL RAFFLE TICKET WILL BE $1 OR 5 FOR $3, 10 FOR $5
We will email everyone their graphs the same day, or the Monday after. I will be documenting everyone's dyno pull, with their mods, dyno graph, pics of their car, and a short video of their dyno. This will all be posted in a thread in the Rides & Styling section the week following the event.
We will be running ONLY 15-20 cars, depending on how everything goes that day.
DISCLAIMER: If you plan to dyno your car, we have a liability waiver that each person MUST sign.
We need everyone to sign up for their dyno time ahead of time, as we want to accommodate everyone's schedule to the best of our ability.
There will be other people attending besides those dynoing their cars, so feel free to simply come and hang out.
We will be working with various vendors to put together a raffle with some giveaways for all those in attendance. Castro Motorsport, Miller Performance, German Engineering and Undr8d Empire are already on the list of vendors giving stuff away!
