Need a driveway

As the title states, I need a place to work. My neighbor has just about had it with me working on the cars in front of the house and the garage isn't really an option.

Anything will work, the sooner the better. PM me for details. Have 100 mile towing.

i say find out when he's not home, do the work, when you know when he starts getting home, clean everything up. then when you know you are just about done, have him see you working on it, let him call the cops, you finish, clean up, and lay some 11's down the road while he's on phone.

I wish he ever had the balls to confront me directly. It's always a call to parking enforcement and its always the same stupid "officer" that puts a bulshit ticket on my windshield.

The last one was for leaving the car in a space for more then 3 days, when its not posted that I can't, AND I drove it around the block the day before. The guys just a prick. And I'm not going down that route again. Thanks James, ill hit you up soon. Might have found something for now but ill need something for the e30 pretty soon here....

3 days is the law in California. They are supposed to chalk the tires. Just grab a scrub brush and wash it off.

You can easily have that ticket dismissed dude. And maybe u should call parking enforcement on that dude. Lol

yeah that happened to me. I just washed it off and called the officer. She just asked if my car ran, which it does, but NO DRIVE SHAFT :). So I just push it back and forth every 3 days before work in the morning.

I'm tired of fucking neighbors crying about parking. The other day I parked in front of neighbors house and she actually came over and asked me to move. Her drive way was completly open. I told her I'm leaving in a hour so she waited but how fucking annoying it's a public street. My roommate gets pissed if someone parks in front of the house but I keep telling him it's a fucking public street get over it. Wow you have to walk and extra 20' FFS

i used to have limited garage/driveway space, and always had a parts car in the driveway. Some shithead neighbor kept calling cops on my parts car saying i was working on my car on public street blah blah blah, so i decided i would drive said parts car open block ( no manifold nothing) up and down the street once a day for a week. never heard anything again.

I just went through the same thing .. i got a letter that i had 3 days to turn in my keys from the town home i live in .. had to tow my car out and its just sitting at work for now.. had to talk to the manager in order not to get kicked out .. sucks not having a Garage to actually work at ...

Sorry for my ignorance, but you're not allowed to work on a car in the street?? I knew the 72 hour parking thing, but I didn't know you couldn't work on it in front of your own house (or anyone else's because it's a public road).

Not in orange county or in a private community. I hear they can give you a ticket in orange county for working on your car in your driveway too. Or having a car parked for too long and looking not new.

Yeap Orange county is very anal about having cars worked on any where :/ and also having parked cars on your driveway even if you own the house .. they consider it an abandoned vehicle and will be given a ticket or can get the car in pounded :/
