hahaha, thats probably all were going to end up doing, three days to get up there and camp out will go by as fast as the van nuys meet, you watch.

people keep a look out for deals now on things like those floaters/rafts now, dont be the one that buys one up in kernville for the insane markup, watershoes help alot, the rocks in the river get VERY slippery.

Pretty much dude, I've bought those river rafts for like $10 before on clearance. The sand shoes can be had cheap too, if you're not looking to impress anyone with brand name gear., walmart or target I think, carries them for like $8 for the pair.

I have spoken to Matt (mcr_driver) and told him that my propane grill, is available if he wants to drive it up there and back. I really doubt that we'll have much room for many other items in our cars.
I mentioned it before but, I have an 8 person tent (wich is really like 4-6) if anyone wants to save some room in their trunk, by not bringing unnecessary supplies.

Target is THE spot for watershoes, i bought my pair for 6$ and used them four like four years one week a year at Kern, and usual hikes at the river in the river trail up in the pasadena foothills. I'll be hawking big5 by work for specials and let people know about good/necessary things. that and my usual trips to walmart/target.
