Zee, last time I was there, I slept in a foldable cod outside of the tent, under the stars. Best freaking sleep I've had in awhile and I was barely buzzin.

Sorry this didnt happen for ya,sounds like it would have been a bitchin drive!! I know that area,very scenic drive. I would have come from the hwy 14/395 on the back side from ridgecrest. Only for me because its a shorter drive.

How far of a drive would that be?? I was actually thinking of getting in touch with Taylor and doing a santa barbara trip then bbq at his place if permitted or if he knows an area nearby. I really just don't want to waste a good weekend like that one. Really bummed out by not going camping :(

From chino to big bear is 1 1/2 hour drive. Pending on how fast you drive.
