I am just now seeing this, I would like to stop through for a little bit and maybe meet some other E30 owners. I may have to give my borrowed, working AFM back by then though so I'm not sure. With that, anyone have a good M20 i AFM they would like to sell and can bring to this?

I was just kidding haha.. More bimmers the merrier. however, i like Edwin's idea of shunning.

BTW Bob, how are the OC cats doing with this drive. Will you be joining the caravan or is it just you out of OC?
So far i only have 2 cars that are coming from North OC. South OC really don't have that many e30 owners because majority of bimmer enthusiasts consider themselves filthy rich and think e30s are for poor people and the rest are too dumb to figure e30s out / work on them. Whatever remains don't think its important to come out to once a year e30 meets and pay respect even though they own bitchin e30s.
So i think it will be just like the last year and the year before. Orange is quite dry, i don't expect it to squeeze out more than a couple cars.
This will be a great meet, with or without them.

Sorry but i have to take the 15 fwy south as my wife is coming along and she is driving the stock e36 and doesn't drive Ortega hwy. :tsk: I might be able to cut over on the hwy 76 to Oceanside and get on the 5 fwy there ?

It's Ortega Hwy/74 hwy exit. Maybe we can get on the freeway an exit away from you guys as you approach

We are going to take hwy 74 and meet with the LA crew where the 74 and the 5 meet. I know you guys want to drive the canyon instead of boring 15 fwy!

If any of you got 2-way radios charge them and bring them along, they come in great use when convoys split bc highway mergers, entrances, red lights etc.

Let's all drive mindful of others and use the common road signals too please.

Clocking out this Friday will be specially sweet!
I'll be living in Pomona by this Sunday so it'll only be about an hour and a half to get there instead of two and a half hours lol
