Hey guy's, not sure how many of you plan on going, but just a heads up. A group of S2k dudes tried to do a big gathering at C&C a while back. Organizers were not happy about it.

If its a "busy" morning they seem to be picky about who gets in.

When we arrived at the gate the organizers explained that they prefer to keep the meet limited to a select group of cars with the emphasis on pre-2000 coupes.

Pretty sure faraize-bros in post-2000 veetahk s2ks don't qualify

I don't predict a small group of 6-8 e30s would have any trouble getting in, seeing as at least half of the e30s attending are confirmed coupes.


But all this rejection talk has got me thinking my POS, crappy paint, stock heigh, dirty e30 won't get in

As long as you're there before 6 you should be fine. I recommend getting a coffee at the shell so you don't have to deal with the line at the show.

Actually change of plans!
I'll update the top post, but I'll have my car there (albeit with two pedals) and we will go to cars and coffee then drive carbon canyon and probably angeles crest hwy. Then we'll conclude everything over at castro's and I'll drop my 30 off to commence the 5sp swap. (and one if one of you OC or SD guys can give me a lift home to laguna beach I'd be very grateful)

Well It looks like I won't have my thirty there because it will still be under the knife for the 5speed swap, but I'm still looking forward to hanging with all you guys and maybe riding along for some good driving.

I tried my damnedest to get the car up, but my birthday last week reallyu got in the way of things ironically enough. No regrets, though, I wouldn't want to spend my 21st alone in my garage cursing at my car.
