We could leave the foothills at 4am to be at the summit at 5? It would be hard to see the stars after sunrise. Sooo, eh, sorry.


I think I'll omit the cabin idea. No one has implied interest, and I guess it seems like extra work to organize that too. We'll stick with the drive and dinner, see the stars and drive back down.

If time permits, you could still drive up on your own, and meet us once we finish dinner. Drive back down with us! I totally understand if you're too tired from the flight though.

I like long walks on the beach and the beatles.

Stars are pretty rad though. We should do a drive during the Perseid Showers. Now that's a drive worth doing and a sight worth seeing.

Bump. About 4 weeks away. If I don't have the e30 ready I'll still be leading with my other car.

I looked up at the sky for some stars tonight. It's clear but saw maybe 10. It's depressing. The view from atop those mountains is stunning. I'm really looking forward to that sight again.
