I also want to add, regarding the San Diego guy, we don't/didn't go directly to the cafe. The road at the top will fork to the right, we continue straight on the main road, past the cafe. We finish at the large opening/perch.
The cafe is closed, and there's no view there. So we don't go there.
Luckily he found us at the perch without knowing this prior!Comment

This was a good time. Maybe a Mt. Baldy or PCH run would be good also. At the top of Baldy, there is a huge lookout similar to the Azusa spot. It would be closer for some of the 909 guys.

There is a camp ground up around the top of baldy. If somebody wants to check with the forest dept we could do a basic bbq hotdogs/hamburgers/chips/potato salad sort of thing up there.
