Most of the reason why I stopped attending gatherings, unless it's something new/spontaneous/different atmosphere.

I'm in for the next drive along with a couple of other buds if it lands on a Sunday again. Didn't go to this one because my friend, brother, and I did two similar ones using these roads prior.

Whats up everybody, made it back up to the Nor Cal.

There is a camp ground up around the top of baldy. If somebody wants to check with the forest dept we could do a basic bbq hotdogs/hamburgers/chips/potato salad sort of thing up there. You know nothing fancy just eat and kick it.

im down to again, weather it be the beach, or the mountains again.

someone wanna start a new thread or keep this one going until we decide beach or mountains ? lets make it official !

What I like about hwy 39/Azusa is that there's no destination at the top, so the road is so empty. I haven't been to Badly so I don't know of the campsite or the road usage. If someone points me to the site, I'll check it out, find out what I can. Besides, isn't that what the Griffith Park meet is meant to be, a picnic? *paging IRON-E, paging IRON-E*

This thread will be for this road. I think a new road necessitates a new thread. I have no problem with a new thread, I think each road deserves its own. Whether it's Mullholland/PCH, Mnt Baldy, Big Bear, Angeles Crest... but for now we can brainstorm here or in the SoCal General Chat thread.

May 3rd and June 7th look like fine dates for something. They're each spaced out away from other e30 events, because we have the Van Nuys meets, and Bimmerfest which is May 24th. I doubt many are going to the E30 Picnic in Washington (I'm going) but that's June 27th.

We'll get something going with *itskingsteelo* as far as BBQs go. Weather is getting much better and, the Griffith Park meet will be in full effect.

We'll make sure to keep you posted, bring Jon and anyone else with you from SD, whos open minded to rolling with. We'd love to see a good group, collaborate in making the old scene better.

Yes, same spot, updated date/time. We leave at 7pm, as the sum goes down (at this point, the sun sets at 6, but factor in DST later this month).

A while ago during the rains, there was a mudslide. I was hoping it would be cleared, but it hasn't yet. I must postpone this event; updated first post to April 16th. We'll see how it goes.

Hope they clear it up soon. I'll try to round up some peeps as well once we get the final date (pending the opening of the road)
