Good BMW shop in Southern Cali needed

Sorry guys, its been asked a billion times but can anyone recommend a good BMW mechanic/shop around the San Fernando Valley area? Specially, I am trying to trace down a parasitic draw....so anyone that has decent experience with electrical work.

I think there was someone in Reseda....another shop around Chatsworth?

I am thinking of either JMP Autowerkz or BMW Clinic.

    Thank you,.

        Thank you guys

Yelp reviews are great for JMP.

I just want an honest knowledgeable mechanic.

Sure money is a consideration but I rather pay top dollar and have it done right the first time.

Ive taken my E30's to MG tech a number of times.
Great honest dude. Used to work on E30 when they were and also was part of a raceteam. Very resonable prices.

Alternative, buy a DMM and track it down via the fuse bus.

I always vouch for Castro Motorsport in North Hollywood. Been taking my cars there and he give great competitive prices and knows the ins and outs of pretty much any BMW.

San Diego Performance European is the best place to take a an E30. Ben knows these cars better than anyone and always does the highest quality work. One of the last real good shops around.

Cant you do the test yourself? Just need a voltmeter set on VDC and hit each fuse with the key off and make sure they read 0.00.... It it reads anything else but that you found the circuit with the problem. Mine was fuse 21, happened to be a bad trunk light switch. Took all but 10 minutes to find it.

                      Thanks

I should invest in a voltmeter. Took it to a local mechanic and yup he said he removed (tested?) each fuse, one at a time.

                      Wala......Fuse #1

                      Sunroof.

I retrofitted an E90 homelink compass mirror last year myself.

For now, we removed the fuse.

I think I'll be rewiring the mirror next week. I used a posi lock to make the connections.

A shout out of thanks to everyone that replied to this thread. It helps not only me but anyone potentially looking for a good respected mechanic.

I might be visiting these folks in the future on general service. We found the general location of the issue but not the problem.
