Sac Scca AutoX - April 16-17 - VIDEO

Anyone going? Its going to be my first event. Would be nice to hook up with some r3v'rs.

Ill be running in Street Modified. Ill be out classed by Wrxs and others I know, thats what big brakes and adjustable trailing arms will get you I guess.

    It'll be a blast I'm sure!

Man, I was seriously the only e30 out there. I mean, I even had to hang out with the e36 guys. Its all good though, I held it down for the Elders.

Heres my cleanest and fastest run of the weekend.

Where did you mount the camera, do you have a roll bar?

I don't want to be the guy to say it but... hands at 9 and 3 bro!

That one handed stuff you're doing there isn't going to give you proper car control. I applaud the fact that you're out there doing this but hop in with an instructor and note their hand positions.

I don't mean to whore my video but you can see just how much more control there is...

No worries. I have no problem with constructive criticism. Having the video to watch back on really made me realize how much I had my right hand off of the wheel when it was completely unnecessary. I was in 2nd gear 98% of the laps and never shifted past 2nd. Might have something to do with me doing way more drifting than closed course/autoX. Always ready to pull the ebrake.haha

It was my first time doing any autoX type of event actually. I learned alot I think. You dont want to see the videos of me braking way to far into corners and pushing the front end all the way through the course. lol

              Thanks for the Tip.
