LA/OC area: Anyone with an S50/S52 swapped car nearby?

    Hey guys,

Looking to see if there's anyone near me with an s50 or s52 swapped car.

Just moved to Diamond Bar area, and planning on doing an S5X swap in the very near term.

Would love to see, and maybe take a ride in your car to get a feel for it, and see how people have spec'd theirs.
Also a plus if your car has been BAR'd/legally swapped, would love to hear any tips you may have.

Please shoot me a PM! Thanks :)

Yes seriously. Just looking to see people's setups. Believe it or not, I've only rode in one swapped car (Rudeboi Scott's) and that was like 5 years ago for 5 mins.

I can tell you all kinds of stories of how I laid girls in the back seat, then beat STIs on the freeway.

I can also tell you that an s52 swap gets boring after about 2 months. But I'm probably the wrong guy for advice. I don't even wear shoes most of the day.

It would take longer than that for the car to stop scaring me.

I want one so fucking bad.

Lol. They are great fun, but more power is always nice. Sunbelt cams, larger MAF, exhaust, tune, and then you'll start going places.

Til then, it's basically an e46 as far as comparable power goes.

An S52 swapped E30 with a simple tune is pretty quick, with a couple boltons you should be hanging with e46 m3s.

An s52 has more power than a 330, but a stock s52 is mostly midrange which isn't super rewarding to wring out.
