Dang it dang it dang it. I was not planning on going because my car wouldn't be ready and it meant time away from the wife and kids.


.... yesterday my wife says "You should see if you can go, my brother will be in town and he'll want to spend lots of time with the kids."

So, anyone know of any last-second accommodations?

Anything decent was reserved at least six months back. I had reservations, but then canceled.

Spectator tickets for Legends and Laguna are still available.

Planning on living vicariously through others this go around.

I have some friends attending Legends, and I'll be at the track all day. There's so much going on this weekend, everything is up in the air as what to do. Anything in Monterey is going to cost a fortune to stay over night. Better off driving there from say, Aptos which is where I'm staying.

It's not bad in Monterey, most of the smoke is being carried inland and down the coast. I just drove Monterey to Cambria on Highway 1 and then back, and it was awesome- seemed to be way less traffic because of the fire.

If you wanna leave EARLY Saturday (the 27th) in the AM lets definitely do it. We are just looking right now for a place to stay but should be a fun weekend despite all the events are in the earlier parts of the week.

Speaking of which, has anyone been before? Whats to expect, at least on the last two days where theres nothing particular going on.

Well, the boss man put the kibash on my dreams of going. With most everyone else here going, someone's got to stay behind!

On another note, we had three Porsche 918's roll out along with a TDF yesterday morning. Exotics on Cannery Row should be a good time.

I wanted to go to legends of the autobahn which Is like 20 bucks which is reasonable but I wanted to go maybe go to festorics too but I couldn't find a spectators link and the cheapest tickets where 215$ and include racing which I'm not interested in

I'm staying with my buddy, he made all the arrangements, as far as hotel stay. Never been and want to see what all the fuss is about.
