There are a few nice parks in the Santa Monica Mountains area. Literally where all the famous canyons like Stunt/Piuma/Las Flores/Tuna are.

I can set something up if there is interest in a meet + canyon run.

The canyon run portion would be setup for people that have run the canyons before and have the right brakes + tires on their cars.

Canyons in Malibu are so over crowded on weekends that is not even funny.

Up Latigo > cross Kanan > towards Encinal > over to Decker., one heck of a run ;~)

They're not crowded when I go at midnight on a Tuesday.......

But it doesn't matter much about the crowds. We can do a run after 3:00 PM when it's basically empty.

Is there a set date yet? How many people usually attend?

If it's not set, why don't we plan on doing it on Saturday Dec. 16th or Sunday Dec. 17th? I know this is a lot later than the initial proposed date, but I need time to schedule it. My girlfriend's family grabs up weekends pretty rapidly XD

I've lately been going earlier, like 8:00 PMish ever since it's gotten colder.

I'm usually back home by 10:30 PM or so.

What part of LA are you from? I start almost all runs from the SW part of the valley.
