Well, we have 48 hours to make a 13 hour trip... so it should be doable. ;)
I only have a couple concerns: (the first 2 tributed to a bad trans)
1: the shift linkage STILL hits the guibo in 5th, I'm hoping that it wears its small groove in the guibo and we make it.
2: Now that the shift linkage is tight as a virgin mary, we can get it into 2nd and 4th. Won't be surprised if I only have R 1 3 and 5 for the return trip lol. Once we shoehorned that thing in, there was NO WAY that we were going to take it back out. Freaking busted ass transmission. Grrrrrrrrr.
3: Cooling system - Not yet been put "to the test". This is an area of concern on most M30 swaps. However, I think if this is going to be our problem, she will rear her ugly head before we get out of the Portland Metro area.
4: Exhaust - I may be deaf by the time I get down there.
5: Power steering - another wonderful unknown. Fortunately, PS is a luxury.
