The Central Coast is usually considered to be between Santa Barbara and Monterey or there abouts. We are specifically located in SLO County and SLO Town in particular.
We got Adam's car done and he is grinning from ear to ear. Now he justs needs to go slow :)
We got Ians' car 90% done - rebuilt control arms and M3 cab's. Couple more susp. parts and an alignment and he is rock solid.
With the lowered springs it handles much better. Adam got the M3 strut tower bearings as well as the other goodies. Both are looking and handling much better ;-)
Couple more things to be done on the cabrio then we will be cruising the CC. Will update those that have communicated so far. We may have an E60 or others.
We are putting back together a Tii for him and in the meantime he is driving his new 5 series. He also owns an old Mini - maybe we should get him out in that?
Hopefully you can all make it. It's located in SLO county, that's why I posted to this thread...
I am helping write and work this event. I can tell you that we have an excellent course laid out for this year. There will be a couple of interesting legs, and lots of fantastic roads. Don't miss it!
The event is FREE if either the driver or navigator is a first-timer.
Hey Steve,Thanks for the invite. Having btdt, an organized rallye was fun the first time, then I got over it. Having organized a rallye myself I also know and appreciate all of the effort that goes into it.Good luck, be safe and most of all have fun! Rob
