so you guys think the trip up north is better? any '02s ever show up? maybe i will skip the bimmerfest this year and go north instead. then i can visit my sister as well. hhhhmm. now im second guessing my self. i can't do both. how many people show up at the picnic?

There has been like one or two 02's at the picnic before, but just like anything else besides e30's, they're not allowed to park in the main parking lot. They've been in the lower area next to the XXX itself.

Im working on getting mine sent out this weekend up to Rohnert Park to get my roll bar/cage welded in. When I finally do finish it and I can bring it up to the Picnic, I hope I can park with the E30s....I mean hey, its got a wicked M20, from CA, and I've been there several years. Who knows! It could be an easter egg featured car - but its not up to me.

My project thread is still dormant because my camera is still dead.

the hostel is fine. you can get private rooms for a bit more. the rest of the rooms are like dorm rooms. they have showers and a kitchen.

i was wondering why nothing had been updated in the last few weeks. i really want to see that car. i think i am going to save my money and go north this year. bimmerfest is getting kinda old. they do have a a new location this year. i want to be out of school already so i can work my ass off and build a nice car. frickin bull shit!

OK, so it looks like I'll definitely need a place to crash on Thursday night. I haven't decided if I want to spend $300 for the Best Western or stay at the SB hostel though. It looks like the party is gonna be at BW, and if my room was in SB that would be bad. drunk driving ftl.

I get a room. then closer to the fest i find someone to split it with me.
last year tom (mot) split it with me. so it was only like $170 for 2 nights.

Yan, the Picnic is E30 Nirvana. I shit you not. This will be my 8th year in a row, and it gets better every year. It is THE largest gathering of E30s in North America, one of the largest in the world.
