driving is no big deal for me, i drove an hour each way when i was going to school. i send my resume to every single tech ad on there, and nobody has called me back yet.

ya thats another thing, my driving record isnt really the best, so a dealer is pretty much outta the question. i have twelve ford certifications and cant even find a job at a ford dealer.

Like I said, in these times, with the info you have provided, I would again advise you to try Wal-Mart, Costco, Sam's Club, Jiffy Lube, EZ Lube, etc. These places will hire you for the small amount of "book" knowledge you have, a real shop will not hire someone with the credentials you have shared with us here. Start small, and realize, if you are smart enough to be a automotive technician, then you are too smart to be an automotive technician.

well said, gotta build up exp, thats why ive been doing this oil stop shet 2 years now, but.. liek i said ive worked on pretty much every car just no advance service like like taking and replacing parts, just small stuff and school does help, sometimes exp pays more than school, idk if you noticed trades pay higher than going to school for somthing. thats just me,

call centers are always hiring because of the high turn over rate. There is a honda technical call center in long beach i believe. The pay something like $12 an hour.
