2011 E30 Picnic Picture Thread

Loved this color - for those who didn't get to see it in person, that's a non-metallic paint job. Beautiful and really stands out since it seems almost everything is metallic paint these days.

I really want to paint my 'vert a non-metallic grey.

Definitely one of my favorites for this year. He passed me on 512 on the way there.

Wow! A photo of my car where it almost doesn't look ugly! I think this would be the 100 foot rule we were talking about before. Sun glare helps a lot too! :)

Took me three picnics to get a picture of my car that didn't include 50 other cars and me saying the phase "I think that one way back there is mine".

My old 2002 was the color bristol which is basically a glossy primer. I have been wanting to paint an e30 in that color forever. Audi has used it somewhat recently on their TT called aviator grey, I think I have seen it on some Scion tC's as well.

I have always wanted to paint a car in the color Colorado. Everyone does Inka, but I have always preferred Colorado.

FWIW, there were some neat colors available on the 2002. Florida, Nevada, Derby, Agave, Pastellllau, and Malaga would all look really good on an e30 IMO.

Since mine is a track car and cosmetics take a back seat someone else use some of the colors and show how it turns out :)

Either i dont know how to properly post pictures (because i just joined,) or i have to say, whats up with the max file size? i have some really cool panoramic pictures to post, yet theyre too big. just last years picnic had a really long panoramic that was no where near the size limits... someone help?

When I saw the car and realized how original looking and badass it was, I knew some r3v asshole would have to point out a chicken shit detail they didn't like about it in the picture thread.:-)
