Of the two cars I liked the best, this was one of them...
fucking spotless. that thing must live in a museum.
I'm bummed I didn't a get any better shots of it.

Gray market car? Euro conversion? Brought over from the Fatherland?

The other car, this SE reproduction.
    made my knees go weak.

Mine, I was waaayy too busy looking at all of the other cars.
Dude ran like a champ all day. 9 hours in the seat and 400 miles in one day is a personal record for this car.

    more to come

Negative. Failed attempt resulted in a tow to Wishno's.
      That sucks :(
But I'm glad to see the car was still where we left it :)

I'll try and have the pictures my brother took on the way up from PDX on saturday online tonight... or at least some time in the next month.

I didnt make it either in my car, but was there. My car made it to just outside Portland, where it was eventually towed. Instead of into Wa where I could have fixed it, if it wasnt also for that golde30/Cary was with me I may have made an attempt to stay and fix it if I could tow it to criv's but that wasnt possible either. My battery died, possibly my alt too but not sure, my ds smilies were destroyed and fender dented by a giant frisbee sized chunk of bark that was kicked up by Clay driving in front of me. And I believe my clutch plate exploded. It jammed up trying to pushstart it with the clutch in, couldnt grab a gear. Stop, start accessing gates stopped, in gear, clutch in, pushing......motor is turning over! Ok, 3rd... Got it started, then clutch in and revved it, sounded like a box of cereal in the bellhousing. I did have clutch grab though still, TOB? I need to drop the rear subframe though too to adjust my camber because the bolt heads are miserably hidden up behind my lee subframe raising solid mounts, subframe, and section of framerail I think right above that point. I don't think I could cut an 18mm down enough to get on it. Due to not being adjusted before it went in...i couldn't turn either of the sides so was forced to just tighten them as is for the trip and hope for the best. The result was a height jacked camber oddball car till I can turn a wrench on it again.

Myself, cary, chris, josh and andy were on the side of i5 for 4 hours trying to get a damn tow truck. It was scary when it got dark and the flares were out.

So I'm not allowed to point out things I find that catch my eye as "flaws"? Sorry if I offend people with my harsh criticisms.

I'm sure still being able to see the outline of the rear roundel recess is something that the owner probably a. Knows about or b. Maybe didn't and might like to have fixed, ever think about that? The car was amazing. All I pointed out was the roundel ring, and the fact that many of us mentioned we would have done the gas door, too.

We missed you man, and Nate. Everyone at the party was saying how it wasn't the same without you guys there.

I just want to say to Matt Lackey that his camping trip couldn't have been as good as the pictures he is looking at now. Guilt trip on.
