1985 Baur 323i Fuel pump relay!

Hi,
my 1985 Baur 323i engine can fire it up due to no buzz from fuel pump when key on position unless I prime it by clip touching a little coin inside relay . There are power 12v at terminal 30 and when I jump 30 and 87 can’t not fire the car up . Anyone get this issue. Please share. Anyone have diaphragm of fuel pump relay? Thanks!

Ok! Here is my relay!

sounds like one of the pumps have failed. you'll have both a lift pump and an external. doubt it's the relay. you could try a new relay just to rule it out.
