Michigan Meet Fall 09

Alright, I know it is late in the season but everyone seems to think that there is nobody in Michigan. This is not true. Take a look at the map that I have made Click Here. With your help I would really like to show you guys this before the snow hits.

I would like to organize a meet for the second or third weekend in November. Lansing seems to be a central place for all of us to meet, and I have had a couple people show interest in having it there.

So what do you guys say?

I am tied up the weekends of Nov 7th and 21st, but I can do the 14th or 28th. Its over 2 hours for me, will there be a decent showing?

Yup, looks like the plan is Nov. 14th in Lansing.

I'm not sure where in Lansing so if anyone has any ideas I'm open for suggestions. Worst comes to worst I'll find a parking structure w/ google maps and bring a grill.

Alright guys, I've got it down to a couple parks. I tried to find some that had a road running near a lake so that we had the possibility of getting some good water pictures.

My first pick is Sleepy Hollow State Park because it has the biggest lake and should have the possibility of some fun roads. This is closely followed by Gerald E Collamer Park b/c we could get some pics with the sun setting over the water.

I was thinking meet sometime between noon and 3pm hang around get some photos and then go for food when people get hungry.

Anyways take a look at the satellite photos and let me know what you think and we will finalize this.

I vote Fox park, number 1 on the map. The others are way too far for me.
