Don't know if any of you are CCA members, but there is a pretty cool meeting going on in the Detroit area next Sat.
Club meeting at the Points & Condenser Preservation Society
Where: 884 Railroad Street, Ypsilanti
When: 10 am, Saturday, November 3rd meet and mingle at the Warehouse
12 noon, lunch at the Sidetrack in Depot Town
Why: Great cars, cool place, not usually open to the public
Once again this year, we will be holding our Monthly General Membership Meeting at the Point's & Condenser Preservation Society AKA "The Warehouse".
Join us for a tour of the "warehouse", a legendary, under-the-radar hang out for car enthusiasts. A place where spectacular machinery, old and new, classic and exotic reside; where car "guys" steep in the fumes of petrol and grease. Don't miss the opportunity to gain access to this closed to the public den of automotive nirvana.
The Warehouse is on Railroad Street in Ypsilanti. It's north of N. Huron River Drive and east off Leforge Road (a right turn from Leforge onto Railroad St. just past the railroad tracks). The Sidetrack restaurant is at 56 E. Cross St., also in Ypsilanti, in the Depot Town area click HERE for more information.
But wait, there's more: The Miller Motors Automotive Heritage Museum is right down the block from the Sidetrack. It's something you can visit on your own after lunch, as it's open from 10 to 5 on Saturdays. Admission is only $5 For more information click HERELeave a comment:

I'd be up for that too, then I could have decent wheels on for a group pic lol. Would the weekend of the 10th/11th work for everybody?
Definitely open to all BMW's. I mean open to pretty much anyone that want's to come, but IMO it would be cool to keep it BMW specific.Leave a comment:

Saturday's work better for me, but I can make Sundays work too. So I guess either or for me.
Why don't we do the last sat or Sunday of the month? And try to stick to it.Leave a comment:

Well, everyone start throwing out dates in November. I am guessing the weekend after Thanksgiving isn't the best idea, and the 17th isn't looking like it would work out for me. Personally Sundays work a little better than Saturdays, every once in a while I get forced to work on Saturdays but if Sat. works best for everyone, so be it. So, who has a preference between Sat/Sun? And what dates do we want to shoot for?Leave a comment:

Sounds good! Saturdays are the best for myself, and although the Saturday after Thanksgiving I won't be available.Leave a comment:

I'm thinking Lansing seems the most centralized for everyone. Anyone know a good place in that area to meet up? Any fun roads? I'm thinking somewhere with a decent sized parking lot for group pics if we get enough people together would be cool. Would there be interest in starting to plan an event sometime in November? If we can nail down a date and get the ball rolling, I'm thinking we could have a decent turnout.
But I am down for a November meet. I'll try and drag along as many people as I can round up if we can establish a date.Leave a comment:
