If I didn't go to my parents tonight I'd have come over.

i've been out 4 times to shovel since the storm started, dad's going out to do another run on the driveway. also had to help get a neighbor's 4x4 ram unstuck. lol. then i downloaded Borderlands and have been playing it all day by the fireplace. lol.

Getting anywhere is pretty hard with over 30" down... surprisingly, the Altima can kind of get through it, but I have no pressing need to go anywhere. This is just a good reason to get snow tires (or light truck tires) for the E30. As long as my power doesn't go out again, I can deal with it.

Few things are as humorous as sledding downhill on a trunk lid. By humorous, I mean dangerous... maybe.

Trunk lid is a great idea!!! I think I have one somewhere. I found out today that my neighbor across the street is a huge bmw fanatic, he has a "true german" 545i in his garage. I see it al the time but finally got to ask him about it. It's not grey market, he literally bought it in germany and had it shipped back, so no limiter, nothing, he took it on the autobahn to 170 when he first bought it! He even used to own an e30! I have my e36 parked in front of his house so we finally got to talking.

Cool. Is he military? If not then he prolly just did the euro delivery. Those cars get a couple extras that a us delivery wouldn't get.
