euro 320 - anyone recognise this car?

so i picked up another stray today. :)
an 85 euro 320 sedan w/ m50 conversion and e30m3 interior. no good info on history of the car. conversion was supposedly done virginia beach area. car has lots of performance mods, but right now it won't start (or even turn over..no response at all when turning the key).

anyone seen this car before? fairly unique, has had virginia registration for a while. love to find a previous owner for info on the conversion. always a little sketchy trying to troubleshoot a frankencar...

finding tidbits of info. looks like this car was the result of work done by mike at Sports and Imports in Chesapeake a long time ago. first of many of these swaps he has done since. several of which were for race cars done for friends of mine. it has passed through several owners since the conversion.

it will be sitting in my project queue...still have to finish the 75 2002 rehab and prep the race car for the season.

aye, a prime suspect....everything engine related is dead for power. instruments, fuel pump, starter solenoid, etc. everything else works fine. hopefully it is the main link, main relay, something in there.....and not damage from mice chewing up random wires. i will report back when i get around to messing with it.

                      Hi Rob!
little buggy was doing great all summer, had a blast driving it everywhere! I then merged it with the 75 i also have. 75 had perfect shell, 73 had perfect mechanicals. engine, tranny, complete brake system, seats, steering wheel, headlights, carbs(rebuilt), radio, gauges, sway bars and many more items moved to the 75. still working on the interior, should be done for track season. now looks like this:

still haven't decided whether to make the 73 a long term project or not. it is in the queue after the 320...;-)

had the same idea when i had the 2002-was contemplating dropping everything in a clean/cancerless shell but, that was hard to find.

                            cars look good,REALLY good!

i think i remember seeing the euro car looooong time ago on one of those cheasapeake,va bmw performance shop websites-
i was reading one something about the build thread or it was advertised as one of the things they do(e30m5 swaps)...it's just been awhile.

That looks like a fun project Rob. I might stop by sometime once the new salt clears from the road. Gotta get the exhaust done on my e30s50. Gonna just drop it off at MBS.

I'm jealous of that '02. I sold my '67 to a guy down in va beach. Last I heard he was rebuilding it completely.
