We all have been talking about putting together some type of "run" or event other than the annual Barbecue at Brody's. Since we have yet to put together a viable auto-x type day, I am proposing a Weekend Run with an overnight stay. We will rent a large Lake house with plenty of room for parking and people to sleep. The only way to do this is to keep the price down to ~$50 or less per person. We will all have to provide food and alcohol.

Dates: Aug 21-22, 28-29 or Sept 4-5
Where: Deep Creek Lake in Western Maryland
Drive Time: ~3.5hours with twisty back roads.
Price: $50 (or less) per person
Registration Deadline: Monday Aug 2
In order for this to work, we need an absolute minimum of 10 people. I have to schedule the accommodations by the beginning of August. The deadline for Registration is Monday Aug 2. On Tuesday the 3rd I will release the final headcount, Actual Location and final price. You will have to get you're cash to me by Friday Aug 6 at the latest. The average price of a house is $350/night. Normally you have to rent a full weekend (2 nights) but I am going to do my best to get just saturday night since we all have work. I would like to keep the girl:guy ratio to a minimum of 1:1 (this is directed to people like my single ass)
This will be a great weekend getaway. We'll finally be able to have a fun, organized drive as well as be able to hang out on the lake. We will leave at 10am on Saturday and drive back early-mid afternoon on Sunday. Below are photos of just a few of the houses I'm looking at! (I don't do cheap)
