I need to have one of my vinyl sport seats repaired (has a rip in the upper left shoulder bolster) and dont know of any upholstery shops that do vinyl (most do leather). Please post any leads of shops (or people) that you know of in the MAR that can repair my seat to look like new.

thats obsurd. they normally are able to repair it.. i bet they're just trying to charge you an arm and a leg to switch to leather.
there are kits if you want to diy of course it'll never be perfect but at least you wont rip it further and it'll keep the foam in place., I've done this as a temporary solution so I can save up for Kevin Chin's upholstery kits.Comment
