a race in B-More

I heard that there is going to be a ALMS race next year in downtown B-More. Has anyone else heard this?

its true. it will be by the Stadiums. and it stops short of my work by like a block... and there is no roof access... :(

they are building a road course city track style in baltimore for the race next year. pretty much just fixing a lot of the shitty roads that the course will run on. i believe its gonna run through the inner harbor and around that area. if you try to go through downtown right now its a fucking mess because of all the roadwork that needs to be done

Inner Harbor used to support the old Coors and USCF pro circuit cycling some years back. Having an autorace in downtown, Not sure there is gonna be enough spectator areas for seats.

One thing about a bicycle whizzing, but a car screaming by needs safety stuff.

I'm pretty sure they will have all of the spectator areas, and safety barriers thought out WAY before the race.

I'm sure they will too but I can't imagine there being a huge area for them, do they have a projected loop mapped out yet?

I don't know. Hey, I'm just shocked that they would even think of having a race there. Now that ppl know of it...I'm sure they will be on the look out for any and everything concerning this race.
