Crazy Ray's : Jessup

Went to Crazy Ray's in Jessup this morning, pretty picked over.

Only found 3 pretty well picked over E30s, a bunch of well picked over E34s, and a few E36s.

I was hoping to find a toolkit, jack, and some interior pieces but struck out on everything. Ah well.

tool kits always gone, mexicans know about those.
jacks are usually gone too, mexicans again.
interiors are hit or miss. they are either there and ripe to be picked or stripped/just fucked up.

ill4noreason goes often, he has lists of several yards and their given inventories at any given time. i know he calls around asking if they have any new bmw's lol.

can't beat that guy, lucky i'm on his team lol.

Stopped at the Crazy Ray's off Hawkins Point road today before heading into work.

Only 1 E30 that I saw, a 4 door 87 325. Had an uncracked dash. Looked to be some indentations on it from where something was resting on it, not sure if that can be fixed or not. Otherwise looked to be in pretty good shape.

There was an E28 524td, 1-2 other 5 series, and an old 7 series.

A bunch of E36s. There was one 92 325i with what looked like a pretty intact engine if anyone is looking for a non-VANOS M50.

I didn't look too closely at it but I believe it did. All I really paid attention to was that they turbo was still on the car.

I spent more time trying to see if I could pop the trunk since it was jammed/locked. You can see where a few people have tried to pry it open with no luck. I only had a few tools on me, nothing to beat that lock with.

Visited Sunday. Totally not worth the dollar. Seemed like more and more Jap/American cars, a lot less German. The German section is absolutely being run over by anything but. No E30s. The BMWs there had been fully picked.... no motors, no interiors.

Was a nice touring, 5 series, AW2..... picked though.

Yea I've pretty much given up on the Jessup location since I haven't seen much there recently, it's a mess of a yard, and it just bugs the crap out of my how the cashier bitch demands to go through your toolbag/box and inspect every inch of it basically accusing you of being a thief.

I've had some decent luck at the Hawkins Point one and Erdman Ave. Both of them have been lean on E30s as of late however.

It's weird, I think a number of the crazy rays are extremely bare when it comes to e30's not sure why they are disappearing lately....
