I need help with engine swap in baltimore asap

So I'm taking out an 87i engine and putting in a 90 i engine. I thought it was gonna be realy fast and easy and I was wrong.If there is anybody with experience doing this let me know. It's my first time pulling a motor out of a car and could use help. I have mostly everything disconnected ( driveshaft, exhaust, wiring harness ac, accessories, belts hoses fan, radiator, and have a cherry picker there. I'm doing the new seals and timing belt on new motor today along with a few other miscellaneous things. If someone could come down and help me get the engine out and set the new one in that would be sweet. I could have easily helped.
If no one else chips in, I can maybe come up Wednesday or Friday night. Best I can do seeing as it's 2 hours drive.
Is this garage heated and have great lighting? (cuz it's gonna get dark)

ubernasty lives up in baltimore and I think he has some experience. It shouldn't be that difficult of a swap since they are both i engines. I just got back from Alabama and Now I'm heading to new york for the next week so I wish I could help but I'm not around.

yea when you left on saturday I drove up and picked up the new engine. then started tearing out the other one. I just bought an engine leveler. I didn't get a chance to go over there yesterday and do the other prep work on the new engine so now hopefully tomorrow I can. I have to work today. Yea the garage has good lighting Its not heated but with the bay door shut its not that cold when you are working. I have a heater we could put down there also. I installed the rear main seal and oil pan gasket so far still have timing belt, oil filter housing o ring, and valve cover gasket. then I'l be ready to drop the new motor in...

I don't feel like driving that far (just drove to NH and back) but you can call/text me when you run into probs. I've done at least a dozen engine pulls and installs.

i've done the late model engine into an early model car. its no biggie, but you will have a few issues with the coolant hoses and reservoir.

yea i noticed that the water pump is different and there is a bypass pvc tube instead of an actual hose that runs across the front of car. also there is only one output on the water pump when on the old there was 2. I guess that what the pvc bypass is for. the sensor that goes down into the oil pan is different as well but i'm just gonna swap my sensor from old motor in that way it connects to my old harness. there are a few other small things but I should be able to figure them out.

rad is different, hoses are diff, water pump is diff, timing chain cover is diff. That's it for the water system. Wiring harness is different but your early model one will work IIRC. better to swap it out tho. Late model also doesn't have the odd fuel line that runs into an AC line.

the car is in my garage in essex. that would be sweet I really haven't done a whole lot since the last post since I've been working hoping today to finally get some time to work on it. And I'll be there this weekend definitely. my number is 4437428222.

so I pulled the old engine and tranny out yesterday wasn't too bad. gonna clean engine bay and try and set new engine today and then tomorrow hook all belts hoses accessories up. So hopefully by this weekend the car will be drivable.. If anyone wants to help pm me...
