yea my 89 has heated seats and my 87 doesn't i don't know if the m tech has them or not still haven't picked it up yet. yea get a pair of ellips and if you need the switch i should have it. maybe the wires are touching or melted together somewhere causing them to stay on together? or they rigged it that way since sealed beams have such low light output. I have a box full of vert stuff if you come down you could check out. yea post some pics up...

Good looking car. Paint is in need of love but I think I can help it. Just 88K on the odometer is wild.

- Has an OEM CD changer but the magazine is stuck, can hear the motor turning but won't work. Yet to use it actually, can't figure out how to select the CD changer as the input.

- No heated seats!!! I thought all verts had them.

- Low beams only work when the high beams are on. Sealed headlights. Wiring or possibly the headlight switch?

- Needs a few bits some 'vert specific.

- Valve cover has some blow back, or black spray on it under the manifold. Bad VC gasket or something with the manifold?

- Looks like it has a new radiator.

Oh I thought this was the guy who needed an auto because he hurt himself.
Come to my garage we will give each other a hand I'm doing my timing belt and valve cover gasket while the m20 is out but it is not that much in the way to do in the car. I have ipod radio all tools I have a bentley manual and a couple articles printed up on the tb seems pretty straight forward. water pump is super easy just took one off the other day. If you wanna change oil or fluids just bring a container to pour it in after it's drained I have ran out... I'll be there all weekend and even friday all day.

if you need bmw service, there is Einstein's BMW. its in college park and they cater exclusively to bmws.

they really know their stuff and they are not uber expensive.
