Hey Everyone,
In a couple various threads we have created an official itinerary and route for the caravan up from DC/MD/NoVa to GutenFest in Maplewood, New Jersey. We will be meeting up with the Baltimore and Philly crews along the way so this should be a great drive and we'll be rolling deep!
Tolls:
Make sure to bring ~$20 in cash for tolls along the way, we will be taking the NJ Turnpike for the 2nd and 3rd legs of the drive and I'm not sure what the total cost will be along the way.
Communication:
Many of us will be using walkie talkies throughout the drive, I highly recommend picking up a cheap pair for $30 but at radioshack or best buy for the drive. This is very helpful for keeping tabs on everyone throughout the drive as well as keeping a heads up on police and any automotive breakdowns/mishaps.
For the NoVa drivers:
If you would like a place to stay the night before, I have an extra room and a few couches that people can crash on so you don't have to worry about driving that extra hour in the early morning. Please PM me for more information and accommodations.

Please be on time, I'm going to strictly enforce this itinerary as we want to get to GutenFest quickly and safely. Obviously we all don't drive the speed limit but know that if you speed way ahead then you're on your own. We will be departing from each destination on the dot.
