College Park Crew Cruise to Skyline Drive/route 211

So on Sunday the 6th of November we went to skyline drive. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time driving. As soon as we paid to enter Shenandoah National Park I reset the odometer and we drove a solid 180+ miles. There wasnt a cloud in the sky that day.

This was my first group cruise and was surprised to see that everyone had walkie talkies. It made communicating easy and it made it really fun. Id like to do cruises like these monthly if possible. I had a great time
Heres some pics from my friends camera, he had the mazda so theres a lot of everyone elses car in the pics. Thanks matt for the pics

Haha. thank you for the compliments but i didnt plan all of this. give TexasTerp the props. hes the one who orchestrates most of the gatherings in the e30 scene out here. im still pretty new to the group. I do enjoy meeting people and whipping it through twisties with ppl who know how to respectfully do so. there were no problems at all that day

We would definitely like to have more e30's on the road with us so come on down anytime. The bronzit is about to be livened up, funny u say that. thanks for the gl. im going to the IE and Miller site right meow!
u ever get them motor an tranny mounts?

I've got them i just haven't installed them yet as i am still trying to find time to reseal and install my trans. I did get my driveshaft back though, had new joints put in and a new cb. It looks sweet all painted up. I went with the e21 tranny mounts. Props to Texasterp as noted above.

The only thing more awesome than these photos was the trip itself. Thanks for the great miles gentlemen. Next time we go to the dirt at the end of that two lane road and do some rallying.

nice. I cant wait to do my clutch! but did u find it difficult to make the tranny mounts fit the bracket or the slots on the tranny itself. Its probably super easy with the tranny out.
