    Seeking E30 Wrencher Guru

I am looking for someone knowledgeable to help guide me through some work/maintenance task that I am not totally comfortable doing myself. I am not asking for someone to do the work while I sit back and drink beers, I want to get my hands dirty.

Ultimately I want to learn so I can do the work on my own next time or help someone else learn down the road. I am also happy to lend a hand and help out with any work someone else may have. I know the Bentley is a good guide, but I would prefer to have someone with first hand experience around to help me from getting in over my head.

I live in Alexandria, but don't have a space to work as I live in a condo. I usually do my routine maintenance in my in-laws garage in Manassas, but if you have a good work space I could come to you as well.

First job I wanted to do in the next month or so was replace my oil pan gasket when I do my next oil change. Other projects to do down the road:
    1) Valve Adjustment
    2) e36 or Z3 rack swap
    3) RTAB and Subframe Bushings
    4) Springs and Shocks

If you enjoy turning wrenches on the weekends and wouldn't mind showing me the ropes please let me know.

I could help you with the Valve adjustment and the springs and shocks. The rack swap, I have no idea what it takes, and the subframe bushings is something I would like to learn to do on mine. I don't think it is hard, just that I feel two people is better than one and you need someone to press in the bushings.

 First and foremost I want to take care of my leaky pan, but once that is done I'll give you a shout about the valve adjustment. Also let me know if you want to give the subframe a shot I would be happy to help you out.
