Any good mechanics in the va/maryland location

My car is having issues and I've changed the water pump and thermostat and still getting heating spikes. Thank you and have a great day.

You did or did not bleed the system? Did you do the water pump and thermostat work yourself?

If you broke that system open, then you need to bleed the system.

I trust Martin Motorsports in Alexandria with my IX. Have been going there for 6 years now. Trust them immensely.

Sometimes the systems can be really picky. I once had to bleed an e30 for an hour before it started behaving. I made the mistake of opening the block coolant drain and completely drained everything. -_-

Did you check the thermostat before installation? I did the same service and spent half a day bleeding the car. I had forgot to pre-check the new behr thermostat, took the new thermostat out and it was a dud.
