    I'll starts

    So I'll start

Food - I'll bring some sports drink, chips, and burger buns and patties

ME - I need nothing just helping out

My GF - she needs the timing belt done, so... I'll have all the parts.

Food - Chips, burgers, buns, hot dogs, (we will have to coordinate the food thing fo real... cuz last bbq a few of my other friends had, we ended up with too much food (didnt think that was possible to be honest))

Drinks - I'll buy beer. I'll bring some ice and a cooler to stash it in. I'm taking requests of beer as of now, just name your beer of choice and hopefully we can get it down to a couple different types/brands.

I can bring some soda and bottled water for safe measure I suppose.

My E30 - Rear diff install, timing belt, tranny fluid change, diff fluid (obviously)
Now since this is only a one day thing, I doubt everything can get scheduled in considering the time it takes for certain jobs. But that's all up to the "gurus" at the meet. I'm just letting ya'll know what I would like to get done.

ill be there on the 9th....early in the am i suppose? and uh...

what should i bring? seems like everybody has food covered so maybe ill bring cups napkins plates and some beer or something? champagne even? sorry i love bubbly stuff and this e30 meet is more then worthy of champagne.
if you have any ideas as to what i should bring lemme kno.

as far as work to my car i really need/want to change my tranny fluid. my damn drain plug wont come out and has been giving me a hard time i dont want to strip it so maybe i can drill it out or someone may have a better approach then i as to changing it. i may change out my diff too...i have a 3.91s now but my buddy gave me his old 2.93s that i think i may swap in to get better gas mileage and whatever. maybe somebody can walk me through a windshield install too...then i have some seats and cluster work i could doo...and maybe a plastic rear bumper :)

as far as beer is concerned...i prefer bottles honestly....i usually drink whatever light beer unless its something good like yuengling or blue moon

OK, I'm in it would seem. I'll just help out, the 318is is off the road right now while I prep for the carpet/headliner/etc. install, so I'll either be in the Charger or the Mini.

if you do cluster, make sure you get new bulbs. If you dont know which one or dont know how many I can get them for you. I think it adds up to everything in the cluster is like 10 or 15 dollars worth of bulbs.

if you ahvent strip the bolt yet, then drilling then trying to turn it would be a very quick and relatively gaurantee to work. I would do taht as top priority. Do some PB and wd40 or what ever like every other day for a whole week while you drive it. It'll help out alot.

as far as the cluster is concerned...yea its not a whole cluster its just the speedo gauge that ill be swapping out...but if i take it out i might as well replace them with some new bulbs maybe a diff color to match my hu. tranny fluid is a top priority for me ill have to get a hold of a new drain plug so i can swap the old shitty one out when we take care of it. ive been hitting it with pb blaster for a few days now so ill continue that....i have searched for a new drain plug on bavauto but had no luck finding one would you be able to get one for me or point me somewhere else? i could just go to the dealer and get another i guess...does anybody here have any discounts with a place they know where they can hook me up haha...

which drain plug? pull it up on real oem, and give me the part number. I go to the dealer once a week, maybe twice depending. Since everyone I know drives a beemer so I'm always picking up parts. Hit me the parts, and I'll just order it with the rest, with my cca discount. You wont get it cheaper elsewhere for almost most things. email me if you need anything at thereisnoyun@gmail.com, so I dont have to keep checking the forums.

FWIW, it's not that easy to change the instrument cluster lighting - the bulbs themselves are clear, the color is provided by plastic diffusers.

i might be able to attend this meet-be rolling in w/ the cabbie that needs some minor finishing touches from the m50 swap.
i assume there'll be a grill-probably bring some chicken wings to grill and some beer-anyone like MGD?

                              the cabbie:

Cool, sounds like it's gonna be fun but a lot of work. We do have a grill and we'll prolly pull out our small fridge to cool some beverages.

This will be in Edgewater, MD 21037.

My beer of choice is Yuengling, for everyone's info.

It'll be good to meet everyone. I'll pm those who expressed interest in going about mid next week w/ my addy.
