The gist that both of you are getting at is some people don't want to drive an hour home to turn around and drive an hour back just for the meet, BUT unless we can guarantee that we have a consistently higher number of people coming out every week 5+ then it is useless for us to waste gas and time to accommodate one or two people.

personally, I would like to move it if people commit, otherwise there is no point. We need to find a better way to get more people out though, there are 52 people on the roll call probably 20 of them are regulars on R3V and we only have 5-6 regulars at the weekly meet. I want to see an average of 10-15 each week.

I like the idea of piggybacking the bf.c meet but I'm worried that people will then stop coming to the Friday meet. Unless we change the weekly meet altogether from Friday to Thursday.

I be up for a once in a month meet in rockville with the CP and VA group or the like, but I would only hike down there if and only if the VA people are all committed to show. Or else it would jsut end up to be one VA guy wit hthe rest of the CP crew. That would be a waste of effort.

Yo man, come out to the thursday meets. There's usually a couple of us e30 guys that go out. But why just e30s? why not all bimmers?

my life is hectic right now:
new job
new housing
new e30 with a ton of mechanical issues. That is the main reason I would like to make it to one of these meets: to get some experienced opinions on whats goin on with this car. I will try to make it to the bfc meeting or thursday night asap.
For the time being I crawl around this site for a couple hours a day :)
