52 people - I'm sure only 25% are still on r3v monthly. We really need to re-locate the weekly meet. What would be best for everyone? Bethesda? Rockville?

25% still have a e30 hahahaha. u, drew, and many others are not e30 owners anymore.

CP location is practically one of the best and easiest to fine. I think bethesda and rockville will be crowded. We could try to have a seperate location in VA or near fredrick if population permits. I think the CP sector should stay as it is, since more regulars comes up all the time and new e30 owners as well.

I think the cp group coming out every week is pretty awesome, and I think moving it, we would get alto of people that say they wanted here and there, but would rarely even come out. Unless we can get more people showing up on Friday at another location, moving it would not be a smart move.

And with Rockville, it's a more general location, where there are TONs of places to eat.

Coming out more often from zero to the CP-MD weekly meet could be anywehre from once a year to twice a year. So unless we have more people that can and will be committing to coming out regularly moving the location only reduce the people taht are regulars now.

Bf.c meets every thursday at Fairfax Corner ~830pm in the movie theater lot closest to the overflow lot.

well I guess you were just patronizing. haha, but in truth, I dont see you argument. The people in Cp comes out every week. I drive to Germantown everyday for work. It would be easier for the meet to be there, so I dotn ahve to drive back after work in traffic. But I think CP has good solid group of regulars. So unless you can make sure we have 5 or 6 e30 people coming out every week, I dont see what you are tryign to say.

I work 15mins from CP, I get out of work at 245p. I don't want to drive 1hr 30mins back to my house, and then another hour to CP for a meet that is ~1-2hrs long.

you mis read what I said. What I said was, its easier for me in rockville since I rather not drive home during traffic, I would just go to happy hour in rockville area and wait for the meet instead of driving back to make the CP meet, but I still do it all the time. As in I know you work15 min from CP, you dont have to drive home you could jsut stay around the area if you really wanted to.

If I had to drive to CP and then back to rockville, I wouldnt do it eitehr.

Both of you are a ways off your original argument.

The gist that both of you are getting at is some people don't want to drive an hour home to turn around and drive an hour back just for the meet, BUT unless we can guarantee that we have a consistently higher number of people coming out every week 5+ then it is useless for us to waste gas and time to accommodate one or two people.

personally, I would like to move it if people commit, otherwise there is no point. We need to find a better way to get more people out though, there are 52 people on the roll call probably 20 of them are regulars on R3V and we only have 5-6 regulars at the weekly meet. I want to see an average of 10-15 each week.

I like the idea of piggybacking the bf.c meet but I'm worried that people will then stop coming to the Friday meet. Unless we change the weekly meet altogether from Friday to Thursday.
