Not to thread jack but I'm headed up Chicago way the first weekend of April with my girlfriend.
Wondering if you guys could help me out.
We're looking to get away for a couple days kinda wondering if anything is happening that weekend. We're going to have place rented near Lake View and I'm thinking about bringing the vert up there (contingent on weather) if not we'll bring the e36 and the bikes.
We've done a few trips up that way before so we're just looking to take it super easy. We're mainly looking to club a night and a hit number of solid bars/restaurants. Maybe some shopping as well for her?? iunno
There is a concert on April 6th. The artist is Modestep, I'll be going to that. Its at the house of blues.
Modestep? Not familiar. Sounds like something to look into. Dunno what's what in Chi really so if anyone has any suggestions sound off or pm me. Always down to catch the best places and meet some new friends.

Why would I fuck with metromix when I could get a local perspective?
Just thought you guys might have some input.
Take a chill pill broseph. I use metromix all the time, that is my local perspective. Zagat is a good option too. There is so much cool stuff that you can't go wrong.
Anyone need auto trans parts from a 90 325is? I pulled the whole thing and related components as some of you might have seen in my build thread and I'm checking to see if anyone needs anything before I take it to the scrapyard.

Sorry if that sounded too aggressive. I'm not angry just guilty of having a filthy mouth.
Zagat, never used that site. I'll check it out, thanks.

I like to take visitors to the Signature Lounge in the Hancock Tower on Michigan avenue. If you are quick you can get a great view of the city without having to spend a dime. Just tell the host/hostess you plan to sit at the bar then take in the views and leave. Then head to Lou Malnati's, get some pizza and stay warm with an adult beverage!
Check out the Cloud Gate sculpture (also known as the "Bean") and the skating rink in Millenium park. Walk under the bean, its fun to look at it underneath. Then you can walk north to the Hancock and check out all the fancy stores on Michigan Ave.
Also, the Lincoln Park Zoo will be nearby you and its free. Maybe walk down the lakeshore trail if its not too cold too.
