Oh, yeah. If anyone has a good set of headlights (other than normal sealed beams) or any US elipsoid lenses, let me know. I've got 3 different sets of lights, but all need something. : (

Does any one who is meeting at the TA (Lodi) have an interest in shooting a video on the way down? Idk if any of you guys had miniDV or were into that, but I thought it might be kinda cool, on the way down, at TCDs and if we go on a drive while down there.

So let me know if any one thinks its a good idea or would like to help.

that and 71 isn't particularly exciting of a drive.

                      Before meet drive..

Easily Distracted, a MR2 buddy of mine and I drove the route for the quick scenic/spirited drive. The roads are in good shape. And, I think the leaves will be perfect for the drive.

Last Sat I drove at about 8/10ths of what I am comfortable at. So, I didn't really see much scenery. Might back off a little for this weekend. Bicyclist and dogs kind of got in the way. Take it a little easier on the straights and play like we did in some of the corners.

I don't know what did you think Easily Distracted?

We spent about 2 hours on the drive. We stopped in Prospect and talked for a little while. We could probably do it in a hour and 45 min. It was about 60 miles. We will meet at the 161 & Riverside Wendy's about 9:45. We will roll off about 10. That should have us back to the gathering about perfect.

Great drive. The turns were awesome and the scenery was really beautiful. It was almost surreal at some spots and I fealt like I was rallying in Europe or something. Drive it fast and you can get all the adrenaline fix you could ever want. Drive it slower and the views will be incredible especially as the leaves continue to change.

Saloon - This is the drive you want to use a cam on.

If anyone is thinking about doing it, speak up now so it doesn't fall by the wayside.

I'm all about the drive...! But the Northern Crew wont be down there until around noon. So if this can happen around then, I'm sure we'd all be down like Charlie Brown!

Klondike is a good road! We looked at a sweet house up there, wish it was in my price range. :(

Can't make the drive, Friday night will be a late one.

The meet is supposed to be from 12-4 @ TCD. I am not going to take over the event. My hope was to add to it. Sorry. We would love to have you join us. Plus, I have other obligations later in the day.

Maybe you guys can leave earlier. If you meet at the TA at about 8-8:30 you should make it in time. I can give directions from there to the Wendy's. If you decide to do that let me know. I will pm my cell# so you can call if you are going to be a little late. If we are 10 minutes late getting to TCD that would be much better than taking up the first half of the meet.

If you cannot make it this time then maybe next time we get together we can plan it a little better so you can join us. The MR2 guys normally do a drive in the spring. We meet in northeast central ohio. I will post that when it is scheduled. This is a longer drive. All day actually. I can give route numbers if anyone wants to go check it out for themselves.
