damn it's almost 3am back home! It's only insomnia when you're out of school. For now, it's to be expected haha. When do you have to get up tho? If you don't need to be up at the asscrack of dawn, then no harm in staying up all night.

Flatiron's is good for me. It's a big place with plenty of space, and is seemingly accessible for most.

I just spent over 4 hours cleaning that stupid Z4. You know how Colorado puts down oil and sand on the roads? well that is the worst shit i have EVER seen to have defiled a car. On order to clean the wheels, i had to take each wheel off, scrub the piss out of the barrel with a brush to get the sand to come loose, and then scrub the piss out of it again with a green cloth thingy (you know like SOS pads). And then i had to use that green cloth to scrub every freakin millimeter of the front of the wheel, it was like trying to clean off dried rubberizer paint.

That is one thing i now hate about Colorado is that sand/oil shit they cake the roads with. (but i still <3 colorado).

Well, it sounds like tar to me? On some freshly laid tarmac, you're bound to get some tar kicked up on the fenders and wheels. I dunno what you drove through lol, sounds rough.

nope, not tar, literally oil and sand. the road was not freshly re-paved, but there were construction signs saying "fresh oil" and the pavement was fully covered in sand, as in no pavement visible. And a terrible noise of the undercarriage getting sandblasted. I should have taken pics. I also scraped handfuls of gooey sand/oil mix from the wheel wells of the Z4. It was disgusting. And it left a sticky brown substance on my hands. Next time this happens i will refuse to drive anything but the pickup truck.
