dang all my pics turned out grainy. my camera can't take low-light shots worth shit unless it's in night mode, and in night mode it has to be held perfectly still for the long exposure, and i didn't bring my tripod.

not sure i don't know much about cameras... will that make low light shots less grainy?

Well, if you can adjust the ISO it would help, especially if you can adjust the aperture and shutter speed.
