Thank you kindly. They will hopefully be on sooner than later. Fender rolling up front went nice n smooth, for the most part. The rears fought and I'm not sure if I got them rolled at all, we shall see. The paint on the front did crack and flake off while I was rolling, no matter the precautions. This is prompting me to lookin into paint sooner than expected / wanted....

Paint job??? Your car looks pretty good in your sig. Is that Cirrus Blau?

Cool cool. Great campus. I'm not a big fan of the school, and I'm a big Nebraska fan so the football season, I'm not usually welcome in some of my friends places.... With a showing like right now though, it hurts to be a CU football fan.

ha ha! football is one of those things in life that i have absolutely no interest in or desire to have interest in whatsoever. Football cranks my gears about as much as herbology seminars or crocheting.

So it makes no difference to me what football team you like, its all the same to me!! :D

Well I didn't know what you were talking about earlier lol. It's not a huge concern of mine since I've just gotten used to not having one....

As for the color, it's Gletscherblau or something like that, metallic. It's.... Ok. I'm not a big fan of the light blue w/ the pinstripe. For the most part, the paint is in pretty good shape. There's deep scratches all over the car though, lots of swirls, a tiny bit of rust, the front end is just peppered with rock chips, there's a stain or something on the hood, like a hose was sprayed across it with acid or something (weird looking), and some unidentified stuff on the passenger rear door that didn't come off (or make a dent with) clay bar lol. The passenger side front door also has some minor ruse on the bottom corner. Overall it's really good, the rust isn't out of control, it's just present, most likely surface rust. I just had bought the car for function since I was gonna track and abuse it, but I wanted to spray it down the road anyway. I was just hoping to have an s50 in the engine bay when I did it. It's definitely liveable and I'm not obligated to do anything with it.
I was thinking of DIY, do all the sanding and prep, filling in gouges and dings, then setting up a booth in my garage and spraying it. Doesn't need to be perfect, but would be better than it is and the color I want. However, I did remember tonight that my friend's friend is a body and paint guy, and does stuff on the side. I'll talk to him and see whats up....






ULTIMATELY, it runs, it drives straight, it hasn't left me stranded. I'm happy with her.

well to jump around a bit more if you decide to paint your car we should work together on it somehow because my car has a million little imperfections also with small spots of surface rust and the occasional dent, and really needs a paint job.

I have painted a car before and done bodywork, so i have a little experience, plus i have been researching the painting process for some time so i have a little knowledge...

haha Flagstaff's alright, just take Baseline up past Chataqua or however you spell it.

I've tried to sell the scoob, I'm just not able to. That car means too much. Plus....I've got a twin screw project in the works for it. muhahahahaha
