      Nah, this one is definitely a beater.

      Now the other 240 I have in the back yard, that one is getting the tarbo.

      Already got a 16v head, now I just need a 2.3L block with the oil squirters for it.

                      but bad news guys, the ix's trasfer case decided to take a crap today.. the only good news is with the snow on the ground we were able to tow it the mile back home without having to call a flatbed.. but i'm sure that will be soon.

                      looking into what to do in the meantime....

                          I do not and am looking... unlike a few months ago there are no iX's being parted that are listed on craigslist and I doubt a junkyard would have one with the t-case still intact/ in very good shape.

                              There is an IX with a transfer case at the small junk yard next to the pick and pull. Iirc it was an auto, not sure if that matters.
