dang man, if anyone is spewing emotions, it's David!! ha ha!
but on a separate note, I am one of those people who doesn't give a (fill in the blank) about any kind of sport which involves a ball of some sort and people running about.
also, leaving Boulder was interesting with the Hoth conditions, but halfway to Loveland it dried up and it's just plain windy up here, not a flake of snow!
If the wind stays up it is simply stupid to drive on 93 and I will stay home.
What is getting fixed? All the diffs?
Good call, 93 is naaaaasty in inclement weather.
Turns out only the center diff (viscous) went bad, but fixing that meant the trans had to be dropped and torn apart. That got done, new knock sensor, steering rack rubber dust boots + alignment, rear engine oil seals and oil/dirt separator, clutch protector boot, and new clutch (original died at 150k). All done in one day without a service appointment, I'm very happy about that. Perfect turnaround time.
Apparently the shocks are fine though, I'm kinda surprised since they don't feel like it.

When did you leave Boulder?? It started snowing an hour or so ago max.

nice! That's cool that they fixed it so fast! I guess if you wanted to pick one place in the world to get your Subaru wagon fixed, it would be Boulder, CO, USA.
Care to tell us what Super charged? I'd ballpark 1.5-2.3k for that
PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

All I'll say is it was pricey for my broke self (M3 prolly won't see the track this season as a result), but considering how much the indie bmw shops charge, I feel pretty good about the price. That, and I get my car back in a day.

Did they at least give you some lube?

Stay home tomorrow. 93 is going to be a shit show. I bet there are 3 foot drifts by morning. I just drove home from DIA. 10 miles and cloud base of 10,000 feet when we landed. 1/4 and blowing snow on the bus ride. 1-3 inches by the time I hit 36 with 1 foot drifts and periodic whiteouts. In the Tacoma I turned the head lights off and cruised at 50-65 by all the gapers with their high beams on struggling to see.
Speaking of needing lube, I just spent $183 on E21 Recaro seat rails. Starting bid was $28 bucks. Didn't think it would go for more than $50. If not for my high speed internet I would have lost for sure.
Looking for your guys opinion for my eta, Im starting to look for parts to do the i Head swap, would a 325i intake manifold or 323i intake manifold work better? I found a euro 323i manifold with fuel rail and larger injectors, and throttle body for a pretty good deal.

I would offer some knowledge, but I know nothing about the i conversion.
maybe you should slap an M20B25 in there, or an M50 or S50...
