Get them so I can test fit my hartges on them to see if the center caps clear.
They won't clear. I do have studs, or I would have bought these already. I just have the cheesy silver short studs from Vorshlag, they get corroded and they can't use over 10mm spacers, and the black bullet nosed long studs also look AWESOME!!!
I'm about to do it. Convince me otherwise! There must be something more useful I can sped $60 on, even though I could be getting these for nearly 2/3 of the price brand new!
also, my studs are way more likely to fit your hartge center caps, i'll sell 'em to you cheap...
I think I know those people. They have like 5 total.
I think that would make it 6 total now.. last time I was there only two D-swartz... I was supposed to buy that one the son drives around greely... but never heard back from Glen.. they also own Mac Auto sports..

If you search hard enough I posted the location. I contacted the shop and asked to tell the owner I will buy it. They said he is not interested in selling. It has been at the shop for about 4-5 months, yes months. I think roland has the guys number. If you buy it first I will steal it.
Yeah, I have his number. Not doing much good though lol.
Why would you rock the 324td motor if you had another option? Old bmw diesels really sucked at fuel economy, torque, and horsepower. It's really a crappy motor, and the novelty isn't really worth it IMO. Plus.....stinky old diesel is stinky.

I'd replace that 324td motor with a newer bmw td motor, but never a gasoline motor (holy step backwards batman). Would be more trouble than it's worth to swap.

im just sayin... If I could pick up an old td for cheap, I'd do it just to do it.
PM me for detailing services in the Longmont / Boulder Area in Colorado!

If I want a gas touring, I'll buy a gas touring.
I'd buy it because it's an e30 touring legally registered in CO. Swapping in a better gas motor wouldn't be too terribly difficult, you'd just have to swap more fuel-related parts than a gas touring.
You already hate the M20, why wouldn't you swap a better motor in place of the combination of M20 + 30 year old diesel tech? If you can find a better tD motor in the US, go for it, but I'd just S50 it and be done with it.

I would convert to gas. I would assume a 100% stock 324td is owned by someone that is NOT on R3v so the price won't be inflated to 8-10k just because it's a touring. However if that is the case and he wants that much for the oil burner then I would have to rethink it a bit. All comes down to what the price would be if he ever sells.
although the shop did say the car has been getting "fuel injection work", so maybe it is getting converted to gas right now.
