I was looking at the europsort twin screw, but I've heard mixed reviews that is doesn't fit in the E30 bay. Would love to know what works for sure, keeping in mind I want good reliability.
My buddy Andrew (www.ardesign.info) is contemplating doing an E30 S5X/M5X turbo kit. He just finished up critter's turbo S50 in his E36 M3, which might I add runs incredibly well for having a stock bottom end with 243,000 miles on it...

We might be doing an E30 S50 car once I finish this other swap I'm working on depending on what the owner of the E30 wants to do...

      Oh it does?

Interesting. And surprising, it being Critter's car.

Interesting. How much is said kit, and how much power? I could be interested. Mine is stock with a fresh head, not interested in building up a bottom end at the moment.

I'd have to ask. Critter's car is their prototype, which they *just* got running this weekend. I'm not sure if the kit is on the market yet, but it's making some serious power (north of 500 is my guess), with an otherwise stock motor with ARP head studs.

Cool. Keep me posted, I'm interested once you've got it well sorted.

David, didn't we make comments a while back when he first got this car, estimating how long it'll take Critter to wreck this one?

Is downtime being factored into those estimates too? Because it didn't run November(?)-July.

I honestly don't think he'll wreck this one... my money is on the engine exploding once he throws a bigger turbo on it.
