Still, do the same search for rwd auto or rwd awd 5spd/auto. Many more of those.

yup. I know there are a couple thousand around, but still. Much rarer than other e46s, cause noone bought them when new.

Point is that when first the car is totalled, keep arguing and complaining until you find the lowest level person who can say "yes" instead of "you're fucked"

I think the S54 swapped E46 is the rarest in the country. I loved my E46 touring (manual AWD). I actually thought the AWD tidied up the factory dialed understeer compared to the RWD versions I drove. Loved that car :(

Finnaly got my new interior the weekend...Pics later when its installed. Came out of a 28k 318is! Cleanest sport interior I've seen. Shame the car was totaled. I'd be pissed if my 28k mile E30 got hit! Heated too!
